WMS WINTER TRYOUTS
All winter sports start in November. Any player wishing to try out must complete the registration process on Final Forms, which requires a parent and the student to participate. Signing up for Final Forms can be found by clicking the Final Forms link or on the WMS athletics page. If your child is selected to participate on a team, a sports physical is required for them to participate further.
Below is the list of tryout dates and times. Students are only allowed to try out for one team per season. Athletes should attend all the tryouts.
Boys Basketball (Dates, Times, and Location TBD) ***Subject to Change based on the number of players that try out. Practice dates will be announced once teams are selected. Cuts can be made depending on the number of players that try out. The amount of players that make the team will be determined by the coach.***

Wrestling (Dates, Times, and Location TBD) ***Subject to Change***
Wrestling begins on TBD . Practices will take place in the WMS cafeteria from 2:30-4:00. Parents should pick-up wrestler at 4:15 on practice days. For practice all athletes will need their own wrestling shoes, mouth guard (if wearing braces), water bottle and headgear. Windham Middle School will supply athletes with a uniform. Wrestling is not a tryout sport. All athletes that come out to practice make the team. The team starts practicing on the first day. Any student who tries out for another team, but does not make that team, can join the wrestling team until TBD . The team and practices are open to all student-athletes. Student-athletes are not required to attend all meets.
Co-Ed Volleyball (starts TBA)
Students can start signing up for Co-Ed Volleyball on Final Forms. Directions for completing sign-ups are on the WMS Athletics page, under the Final Forms Parent Playbook tab. Students need to be signed up by TBD. Please reach out to Mr. Moyer or Coach Bartlett if you have any questions.
Co-Ed volleyball is for boys and girls and is a non-tryout sport. The season will begin the week of TBD and end the week of TBD. Students who sign up will be on the team. The team will practice or play games against other schools on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the season. The game schedule will be made available as soon as possible, and practices will take place at WMS after school until 4:15. Athletes should bring shorts or pants, an athletic shirt, sneakers, and water to practice.
